While the Power Star has been away on a vacation, a photo of him sporting a salt and pepper stubble and spiked hair do went viral. With Pawan slated to start shooting for the Telugu remake of Tamil superstar Ajith's Veeram, speculation surrounding the new look intensified. When we tried to find out, it emerged that the new look has nothing to do with the film. Not yet at least.
"This is just the look he is sporting right now. Pawan recently got his hair trimmed into a very short crop with a lot of volume on the crown, which is styled in spikes. He is yet to discuss the look with SJ Suryah (director). Only after that will a clear picture emerge regarding his look in the film," shares a source close to the actor, adding, "A lot of changes were made to the script. So much so that it will seem very different from the original."
Pawan, for now, seems to be happy taking time off with his family. "He spent around 10 days with his kids in Pune and has now taken off to Russia with his wife (Anna Lezhneva) and daughter," adds the source.
